This program is a base strength program for developing strength in basketball athletes. Notice that the exercises are not necessarily "basketball specific" movements, but are selected to develop the foundational strength necessary to become a more explosive athlete. Also important to note the increasing vertical jumping ability, speed, and quickness are all dependent on power.
