Research has shown that other people's perception of you can without a doubt have an affect on what you believe to be true. In a study done on a group of housewives in New Haven, Connecticut, after hearing for a week that they were considered charitable people , the housewives gave much more money to a canvasser from a Multiple Sclerosis Association.
Firstly before I delve into my 5 pieces of advice, I am not going to proclaim to be THE best trainer/coach and that my way is THE only way to grow a successful business. These are tips that I myself have actually borrowed from not only successful fitness and strength and conditioning professionals, but successful entrepreneurs.
As a strength coach, through both personal experience as an athlete and having coached hundreds of kids over the past few years, I have learned that there are 3 things that really help bring out the best in an athlete through training.

When it comes to training youth athletes and trying to "increase" speed strength and ability, the most common approach is deciding on WHAT to do. Very fair. However in terms of the trainability of the different components such as speed strength, and agility, a great approach is to determine WHEN to train for each.

Performance enhancement. The key reason why any athlete decides to partake in this activity to make the necessary gains for their sport.
